One day, she decided to enter a Miller Beer Bikini Contest to win vacation money for her parents. She won that contest and subsequently entered more, winning them too. Soon after, Miller made her a poster girl and she started making personal appearances for the beer company.
Dunning went on to work as a model and appeared on the covers of Shape, Triathlete and Muscle & Fitness magazines. That led to opportunities to make more than 60 commercials including ads for Foot Locker and as Louise the Run For the Border Girl, in Taco Bell commercials.
Other television credits include: hosting ESPN's Extreme Bloopers, guest appearances on Dream On, Silk Stalkings, The Jamie Foxx Show, Boy Meets World, Tales from the Crypt, Who's the Boss?, Knots Landing, and Married... with Children.
In 1996, Dunning married Olympic gold medallist Steve Timmons. They have one child, Spencer Schae.
