Cary Elwes
Elwes made his film debut in Marek Kanievska's Another Country. Based on that performance, Elwes was chosen by the Director of The Royal Shakespeare Company, Trevor Nunn, to star opposite Helena Bonham-Carter in the highly acclaimed historical epic Lady Jane. Next, Elwes was cast by Rob Reiner to star opposite Robin Wright in the classic Princess Bride. Ed Zwick's Academy Award-winning Glory quickly followed, in which Elwes performed with Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman and Matthew Broderick. He has also appeared in the blockbusters Twister, with Helen Hunt; Liar, Liar, with Jim Carrey and the suspense thriller Kiss The Girls, with Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd.
Other film credits include Francis Ford Coppola's Academy Award winning thriller Bram Stoker's Dracula, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Hot Shots, Tony Scott's Days of Thunder, The Crush and Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. Additionally, Elwes appeared as famed Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins in HBO's critically acclaimed mini-series From The Earth To The Moon, produced by Tom Hanks.
Elwes will soon been seen in the Lions Gate's drama Cat's Meow, opposite Kirsten Dunst, as well as the NBC mini-series Uprising, starring Jon Voight, and an episode of Fox's anthology series Night Visions..
